Officiate: You come here today as individuals. You come to become one — of course not to lose yourselves, but instead to promise a new life of unity and love.
(I will wrap the cloth around your hands as I say)
Officiate: These hands will countless times wipe the tears from your eyes: tears of sorrow and tears of joy. These hands will comfort you in illness, and hold when you are wracked with grief and joy. These hands will hold you tight through difficult times. These hands will passionately love you and cherish you through the years, for a lifetime of happiness. These hands will give you support and encourage your dreams. Together, everything you wish for can be realized.
This portion of the vows will be inserted after The Vows & Presentation of the Rings Section on your preference of the standard civil or spiritual vows.
